Waxing
Waxing
Hard wax is ideal for sensitive areas such as the face. It’s applied warm and hardens on the skin, gripping the hair without sticking to the skin. This makes it gentler and less irritating, especially for delicate facial skin.
Soft wax is commonly used for larger body areas like the legs, arms, and back. It’s applied in a thin layer and removed with a cloth or paper strip. This type of wax adheres to both the hair and skin, effectively removing fine hair over large areas.

AFTERCARE
Waxing Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential to maintain smooth, healthy skin and prevent irritation after a waxing session. Follow these tips to ensure the best results:
1. Avoid Heat and Sweat
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms for at least 24 hours after waxing.
Stay away from strenuous exercise that causes excessive sweating for 24-48 hours.
2. Keep the Skin Clean
Gently cleanse the waxed area with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.
Avoid exfoliating the skin for 48 hours after waxing to prevent irritation.
3. Moisturize
Apply a soothing lotion or aloe vera gel to the treated area to keep the skin hydrated and calm.
Avoid creams with fragrances or harsh chemicals, as they can irritate the freshly waxed skin.
4. Avoid Sun Exposure
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 48 hours after waxing to prevent skin irritation or pigmentation.
If you need to be outdoors, apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to the waxed area.
5. No Tight Clothing
Wear loose-fitting clothing for at least 24 hours after waxing to avoid friction and irritation.
6. Do Not Touch the Area
Avoid touching or scratching the waxed area, as this can introduce bacteria and cause breakouts or infections.
7. Avoid Swimming
Avoid pools, hot tubs, and the ocean for 24-48 hours to reduce the risk of infection and irritation.
8. Exfoliate After 48 Hours
Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and help maintain smooth skin.
By following these aftercare steps, you'll ensure that your skin stays smooth and irritation-free for longer. If you experience any unusual redness, bumps, or irritation, it’s always a good idea to consult your esthetician or healthcare provider.
